Bosch 040 600HP Internal Fuel Pump - Made in the Czech Republic

Tuff Car Parts proudly stocks the Bosch Motorsports 040 fuel pump. This pump is a universal product and will work on any vehicle where a 70mm opening in the fuel tank is available.

This well regarded fuel pump is capable of providing 102 Litres Per Hour at 6.5 Bar (94 psi) for vehicles making up to 600 Horsepower.

The 040 is a universal style pump intended to be installed in the fuel tank only. It is designed to replace the factory fuel pump in order to maximize fuel flow for high boost applications, where the factory injector pulse duration is substantially increased or where larger injectors are being utilized to service performance upgrades that demand more fuel than what the factory pump can deliver.

Due to the differing sizes of aftermarket in-tank fuel pumps when compared to the factory unit, it is prudent to maintain at least a ¼ full fuel tank in order to avoid fuel starvation on wide open throttle in winding conditions.

The Bosch 040 also has the distinction of being one of the few in-tank fuel pumps that can be compared to the popular Walbro 255 LPH High Pressure series of fuel pumps. High praise for one of the industry’s leading brands.
