This 1.4kw / 1.9hp starter is recommended for engines all the way up to a monster 400cu and 14:1 compression ratio and utilizes a 4.44:1 gear reduction. Aeroflow starter motors have high heat resistance helping to eliminate hot start problems and are powder coated black for extra corrosion protection. - Suitable for models fitted with Torqueflite 727 3 speed auto transmission only.
- Mounting holes are not threaded, which most factory starters are not. But in some instances the factory starter motor mounting holes are threaded, which means you will need to purchase appropriate nuts/bolts for mounting, which can be purchased from any good fastener/bolt store.
