BA BF Ford Falcon 6 Cyl Non Turbo Borg Warner 28 Spline Mini Spool Diff Lock M78

Spools are an alternative to a locker for traction and performance enhancement.  Our high quality mini spools are a favourite of off-road competitors, dirt track racers and drag racers. A differential with a mini spool setup delivers equal power and traction to both left and right-side rear wheels. Spool solutions are less expensive than lockers and weigh less.
The mini spool replaces the original spider gears in an open carrier differential, locking together both axles for even power to both rear tyres!

Fitment notes:

• Fits open carriers / non LSD only.
• Suitable only for 28 spline, 4 pinion Borg Warner 78 Series Differential.
• Mini Spools are fitted to an open centre diff (non-LSD). They will NOT fit LSD.
• Suitable for 6 Cylinder Non Turbo BA & BF Ford Falcon Sedan, Ute & Wagon.
• Will not fit Turbo or V8 Models.
• Please note when fitting this unit, when reusing your original pins, you will only need to use 1 pin, the other does not get used.
• You will need to use the open/single spinner hemisphere/carrier from an EB2, ED, EF, EL or AU Falcon in order to use this mini spool. Will not fit inside the original BA BF hemisphere/carrier.
